Singer/songwriter Griff Clawson's soulful voice and rich lyrics convey a depth that belie his age. Raised in Newport Beach, CA, he began playing guitar and writing songs at 11, and went on to perform for coffee house crowds at 14. Griff has created a sound that is engaging, original, and thoroughly modern, which has won him a diverse and loyal fan base. Equally captivating in front of crowds from 10 to 10,000, he has played many Socal venues like House of Blues Hollywood and Anaheim, Room 5, The Observatory, and Pauley Pavilion. A student at UCLA, Griff was selected two years in a row to compete in the school's much celebrated "Spring Sing" competition, an event which also honors annual recipients of the George and Ira Gershwin Lifetime Achievement in Music Award. Currently, Griff just finished recording his upcoming EP, Make A Move, to be released in April and followed by a summer tour.
